Designed to create versatile dancers who seek to continue dancing in college, on Broadway, or in a professional company. Students take weekly classes in ballet, contemporary, modern, jazz, partnering, and pointe. Pre-Professional Dance students also have the opportunity to audition for Axelrod Contemporary Ballet Theater's professional productions, rehearsing with APAA + AXCBT Director, Gabriel Chajnik, and the professional dancers of AXCBT.

Directed by Primary Director, Wendy Roman, students will learn the ins and outs of the performing arts world! From dancing and singing to set design and costuming, APAA Primary Players Summer Camp is an all-encompassing program designed to help your star learn, grow, and shine! APAA Primary Director, Wendy Roman, treats each child's experience individually, helping students discover enjoyment in the arts.
Our Primary Players Camp runs every week Monday-Friday, 9am-3pm, offering weekly masterclasses with Broadway professionals in dance and musical theater in addition to classes like music, art, costume design, stage makeup, acting. In addition to their weekly performing arts classes, students will participate in weekly specials including Virtual Reality with OasisVRX, Flower Arrangements with Enchanted Blossoms, and Painting with artist Franki DeSaro.
At the end of the 4 weeks, students will perform in our Primary Players Showcase at Bell Works, demonstrating all they have learned!

Cabaret Intensive
