Come meet those tap-dancing feet! Inspired by Busby Berkeley’s famous show-business movie musical, 42nd Street tells the story of aspiring chorus girl Peggy Sawyer, from Allentown, PA, to land her first big job in the big city. When leading lady Dorothy Brock breaks her ankle and can’t go on, the director Julian Marsh asks Peggy to step in and tap her way into history. 42nd Street boasts one of the great theater scores of all time, including such standards as “You’re Getting To Be A Habit With Me,” “We’re In the Money,” “Lullaby of Broadway,” “Shuffle Off to Buffalo” and, of course, the title song “Forty-Second Street.”
42nd Street is presented by special arrangement of Tams-Witmark, a Concord Theatricals Company.
