The Tony Award-winning RAISIN is a lost gem of a musical  tale that explores the American Dream and the bonds of family, trust, and love. With its powerful use of song, dance, and drama, Raisin captivates audiences and with its soulful, soaring score.

Based on the American classic A Raisin in the Sun, the musical Raisin stars Fredi Walker-Brown, Joanne in the original Broadway production of the Pulitzer Prize Award- winning Rent. Production Consultant, two-time Tony Award winner Phylicia Rashad and director Evelyn Collins, founder of the Denzel Washington School of the Arts, combine their talents to create "the hit of the season"!

Praised by The New York Times' Clive Barnes as "perhaps even better than the play," Raisin promises to be the most-talked about event of New Jersey's Black History Month observations. Don't miss this rare opportunity to see this worthy Tony-winning musical about  family's pursuit of a better life…  a musical that will appeal to both fans and newcomers of this inspiring story.
