May 6—May 21, 2023

Changing the world, one dance at a time, THE PROM is the upbeat coming-of-age musical of our time! Compared with Hairspray for its high-energy rock-and-roll score and heartfelt message, THE PROM is the big song and dance show Broadway lovers crave, praised by The New York Times for making audiences “believe in musical comedy again.” If you were ever in doubt, THE PROM will restore your faith in big brassy dance numbers, live theater, and even humanity itself! (Dancing in the aisle is strongly encouraged!)

The Prom was composed by Matthew Sklar with lyrics by Chad Beguelin and book by Bob Martin and Chad Beguelin, based on the original concept by Jack Viertel.  Axelrod's production of THE PROM will be directed by Broadway and TV's Todd Buonopane with Choreography by Broadway's Brooke Engen!

The Prom is presented with special permission by Theatrical Rights Worldwide
