Remember Jones presents the entire album of the rock opera by The Who live in concert to mark the 50th anniversary of the album’s release. The concert will feature the full 12-piece Remember Jones band along with special guests. Released in 1969—the year of Woodstock—the album Tommy consists of songs mainly composed by The Who’s lead guitarist Peter Townshend. Conceived as a rock opera, Tommy was groundbreaking in its bold concept and many consider it one of the most influential albums in rock history and a breakthrough for The Who. The album consists of iconic top-selling singles like “Pinball Wizard,” “We’re Not Going to Take It,” “See Me, Feel Me,” “I’m Free,” “The Acid Queen,” and “Go to the Mirror.” This live-concert presentation of the full album is NOT the musical based on songs from the Tommy album.
