GLEN BURTNIK'S SUMMER OF LOVE CONCERT

The Classic Rock & Soul of the 60’s & 70’s

Relive the Memories, Share the Spirit and Celebrate the Songs of the Woodstock Generation, The Music That Changed the World.

Glen Burtnik’s Summer of Love Concert isn’t just a concert, it’s a “Happening," America’s only authentic 60’s rock festival on one stage in one night! Since this very weekend is the 56th anniversary of the famous Woodstock Music & Art Festival, The Summer of Love Concert will include select songs from that legendary musical event, an indelible moment in our history! Performed by a 14-member cast including 7 lead vocalists, a horn section, strings and an incredible rock rhythm section, enhanced by an exciting psychedelic lighting and video show, re-create the songs and the psychedelically flavored spirit of that incredible era that has influenced our daily life, its art, literature, fashion, attitudes and language, in a way that few other social movements have!

You’ll hear your favorite songs from classic artists like The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Dylan, Janis Joplin, Jimi Hendrix, The Doors, Marvin Gaye, Joe Cocker, Aretha Franklin, Santana, Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young, The Temptations, Creedence Clearwater Revival, The Band, Jefferson Airplane, The Association, The Turtles, The Beach Boys, Mamas and the Papas, The Grateful Dead, Country Joe, Procol Harum, Ike & Tina Turner, The Rascals, Chicago, Otis Redding, Sly and The Family Stone and more!

The Summer of Love Concert was created by Glen Burtnik of Styx, the original Beatlemania on Broadway (he played Paul), bassist/vocalist with the current version of ELO, The Orchestra, member of The Weeklings, major label (A&M) solo recording artist and hit songwriter. "I've always had a playlist on my iPod named The Summer of Love. I'm a hippie at heart. The music of that era is what’s moved me the most!”
