Junior Division
Ages 8-12
Junior Division is designed for students to establish a strong foundation in dance and/or musical theater. Students learn technique and discipline and begin to cultivate their artistry. Junior Division students are responsible for taking a specific number of classes during the week in order to participate in performances, Moana, Jr. and AXCBT's The Polar Express. Pricing
Classes run September 13, 2023 - June 19, 2024. Tuition pricing is based on APAA's 40-week school year and is to be paid in 9 installments charged on the 15th of every month. The first installment will include tuition for the first and last months of training (September and June). All classes are held at AXCBT Studios @ Bell Works (101 Crawfords Corner Road, Holmdel, NJ).
For all 1-hour classes
1 class a week ~ $960 for year ($24 per class / $96 per month)
2 classes a week ~ $1760 for year ($22 per class / $176 per month)
3 classes a week ~ $2400 for year ($20 per class / $240 per month)
4 classes a week ~ $3200 for year ($20 per class / $320 per month)
For all 45-minute classes
1 class a week ~ $800 for year ($20 per class / $80 per month)
2 classes a week ~ $1600 for year ($20 per class / $160 per month)

Justin Christopher Odon – APAA Faculty
Justin Christopher is an NJ based theatre artist. He has a large theatre background that includes directing, choreography, set design, lighting design, sound design, costume design, prop design, producing, stage management, production management and performing. He is the founder and artistic director of Theatre@Home: Save The Arts, a virtual theatre company that produces virtual theatre productions. In 2022, Justin Christopher was nominated for three NJACT Perry Awards for his production of The Wizard of Oz in April/May 2022 at the Count Basie Center for the Arts (Outstanding Direction of a Musical, Outstanding Sound Design of a Musical, and Outstanding Musical Production). Alongside being nominated for the NJACT Perry Awards for The Wizard of Oz, he was also nominated for the Broadway World 2022 Regional Awards (Best Direction of a Musical, Best Sound Design of a Musical, and Best Production of a Musical). Justin Christopher is a teaching artist for the Phoenix Rising Star Academy in Red Bank and the Count Basie Academy of the Arts. A few show credits include Once On This Island, Pippin, In The Heights, A Chorus Line, Cabaret, Mamma Mia, Disney’s Descendants the Musical, Be More Chill, Legally Blonde, The Music Man, Spring Awakening, The Wizard of Oz and A Christmas Carol The Musical. Justin Christopher has worked on many productions in the Monmouth County area and is recognized for his dedicated work in helping young theatre artists to create and grow. He is a proud advocate for the arts and is very dedicated to keeping the arts alive.

Olivia Miranda – APAA Faculty/AXCBT Company Member
A founding member of AXCBT, Olivia graduated from Ailey/Fordham with a B.F.A. in Dance and English (2018). She previously danced with Ballet Hispanico's BHdos and has performed works by Alvin Ailey, Paul Taylor, Annabelle Lopez Ochoa, Colby Damon, Graham Lustig, and Riccardo de Nigris. She has performed at Lincoln Center and the historic Apollo Theater. Olivia has presented and performed choreographic works at Asbury Park Dance Festival, Ailey Citigroup Theatre, Dixon Place, Rider University, The Tank NYC, and Bell Works.

Alyssa Harris – APAA Primary Faculty
Alyssa Harris graduated from Adelphi University with a BFA in Dance. She has worked with choreographers Frank Augustyn, Orion Duckstein, Adelheid B. Strelick, and Jennifer Kreichman. Alyssa joined AXCBT in 2021 and has performed soloist roles such as Tea in AXCBT’s The Nutcracker Rocks.
